This term we are helping our Squirrels understand their Scouting promise, which stays with them into Beavers. This is:

Each week, we will award one of our mascots named below.
Your Squirrel should look after the mascot and return the following week for another Squirrel to look after. The Mascots of Kit and Spidey will start on Fridays then move to Thursday.
Red – our experienced Squirrel in Uniform
Handed out for someone who has shown good Squirrel values that week – being Kind, helpful, listening, respectful.
Please take Red on adventures and return the following week for the next squirrel.
Spidey – our Spider plant
We want to encourage looking after our world. Each week a Squirrel will take home Spidey to water and care for then return the following week (it needs day light, keep water topped up the the line). They can see the roots.
Kit – our youngest Squirrel
Whoever takes home our newest mascot needs to teach Kit how to be helpful.
Please log what your Squirrel has done that is helpful with Kit that week in the book – you can include a picture drawn by the Squirrel or a photo if you wanted. Do not include photos of other children.
